Malta Catamaran Charters runs a fleet of nine boats — seven catamarans, one sailing yacht, and one RIB — and every charter is private. You’re not booking a seat or a ticket; you’re booking the whole boat, for your group only, for the day. That’s a lot of choice, though, and if you’re trying to work out which boat actually fits your plans, here’s the short version: it comes down to your group size, your budget, and what kind of day you’re after.

Planning a Boat Party or Celebrating with a Big Group
If your guest list is long — a milestone birthday, a bachelor or bachelorette party, a big group of friends — you want a boat with real deck space and a sound system that can run all day.
Pauza w szkole is the biggest boat in the fleet, holding 45 guests as standard and up to 50 with the add-on option. It comes with a Bluetooth speaker system built in and enough deck space that even a full group never feels packed in.
Siesta Mia is our local favourite for exactly this kind of day — she’s the boat Malta itself books for birthdays and weekend parties, with a generator-powered sound system that keeps the music running without draining the boat’s battery, and DJs are genuinely welcome to bring their own setup.
Weddings, Anniversaries & Romantic Occasions
Not every celebration needs a party atmosphere. For weddings, proposals, anniversaries, or a couple wanting genuine quiet time on the water, these two are the ones we point people toward.
Cicciolina Mia is one of our most requested boats for weddings and intimate charters — sailors describe her as comfortable and stylish rather than flashy, which is exactly the tone most couples are after.
Szirina Mia, our sailing yacht, is the smallest boat in the fleet at 10 guests, and the one to pick if you want the day to feel like actual sailing rather than a motor cruise — genuinely quieter, and a good fit for a small wedding party or an anniversary charter.
Families & Relaxed Days Out
If you’re travelling with kids, or you just want a calmer pace without music or a party atmosphere, two boats in the fleet are built specifically for this.
Angelina Mia is our newest and most modern boat, with an open-plan layout, a private upper sundeck, and a strict no-parties policy — it’s reserved for families and groups who want comfort and space over a party atmosphere.
Bowie is the boat we recommend when the Malta heat is a real concern — she’s fitted with air conditioning, a generator, and a water maker, genuinely rare extras on a charter boat, and a big help for families with young children who might need a cool place to rest during the day.

If you just want a reliably great day on the water without a specific occasion in mind, these are the two boats our guests come back to most.
Pupa Mia was our very first catamaran and is still our most booked — 20 guests as standard, a layout that gives everyone a genuine choice of spaces through the day, and a crew who know her better than any other boat in the fleet.
Chiquita is the boat we’re asked for by name more than any other — a four-cabin Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 that books out fast, particularly through summer, so it’s worth locking in early if you want her specifically.
Couples & Small Groups Wanting Speed and Flexibility
Turystyka 710 is our only RIB, and the only boat in the fleet available self-drive if you hold an ICC (or equivalent) licence — a genuinely different kind of day, faster and more hands-on than a catamaran charter. No licence? We’ll pair you with one of our skippers instead.
