Booking & Payments

• How do I book a charter? You can book directly through our website www.maltacatamarancharters.com  A deposit ( €200 including VAT) is required to finalize and secure your booking.

• What payment methods are accepted? The deposit is paid by Visa or Mastercard on our website. The remaining balance on the day of the charter can be paid by card, cash or Revolut.

• What is the cancellation policy? Deposits are fully refundable if the charter is canceled due to bad weather (typically defined as winds Force 5 and above). Cloudy skies or light rain usually do not qualify for a refund.

Onboard Experience

• Can we bring our own food and drinks? Yes! You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and use the onboard facilities, including cooler boxes. It is recommended to bring your own ice to keep drinks fresh.

• Is catering available? Yes, a set menu can often be pre-ordered (approx. €40 per person). This usually includes items like spare ribs, grilled chicken, sausages, pasta salads, and unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks.

• Can we play our own music? Absolutely. The catamarans are equipped with sound systems that allow you to connect your phone via Bluetooth.

• Are there toilets and showers on board? Yes, the catamarans feature separate toilets for ladies and gentlemen, as well as freshwater showers to rinse off after swimming.

• Can I charge my phone? Yes, boats are typically equipped with USB ports and standard 240V plugs.

Logistics & Itinerary

• Where do we meet? You can board at Roland Marina in Ta’ Xbiex or at Tigné Seafront in Sliema, both at no extra cost. Pick-ups from Bugibba or Mgarr (Gozo) are available for an additional fee.

• What are the standard hours? A typical full-day charter runs for 8 hours, usually from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Where can we go? Itineraries are flexible. Popular destinations include the Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon in Comino, as well as the secluded bays of Gozo and the northern coast of Malta.

• Is snorkelling gear provided? No, snorkelling gear is not included, so please bring your own mask and fins if you’d like to snorkel. Some boats offer a stand-up paddleboard (SUP).

Safety & Comfort

• What if I get seasick? Catamarans are much more stable than standard sailboats, making seasickness less likely. However, if you are prone to it, taking a motion sickness pill (like Biodrina) one hour before departure is recommended.

• Are life jackets available? Yes, the boats are equipped with all necessary safety gear, including life jackets for both adults and children.
