Pupa Mia Catamaran 20+5 Guests -€1200 Day Charter

Pupa Mia Catamaran 20+5 Guests -€1200 Day Charter

Our original catamaran and most popular charter — 20 guests as standard, with room to add up to 5 more (25 max) at €25 per extra guest. A private, all-round favourite for groups wanting a proper day on the water. From €1,200 full-day, €850 evening.

Pupa Mia: Malta’s Most Popular Private Charter

Pupa Mia was our very first catamaran — the boat Malta Catamaran Charters started with, and still the one guests book more than any other in the fleet. There’s a reason for that: it’s the sweet spot between Chiquita and Cicciolina Mia’s smaller, more intimate size and Playtime’s big-party scale. Twenty guests fit comfortably with room to move, the boat handles beautifully, and after years of running the same routes, our crew know exactly how to make the day work.

From €1,200 for a full-day private charter, or €850 for an evening/sunset charter.

Why Pupa Mia Is Our Most Booked Charter

Pupa Mia was the boat that started Malta Catamaran Charters, and it’s still the one most guests end up choosing. Twenty guests is a size that works for almost any group — big enough for a proper celebration or a group of friends, small enough that it never feels crowded or impersonal. The layout gives you a genuine choice of spaces through the day: sunbathe on the front trampolines, gather around the cockpit table for lunch, or duck into the shaded salon if the sun gets too much.

It’s also simply a boat our crew know inside out. Years of running the same waters on Pupa Mia means the route, the anchorages, and the timing are dialled in — you get the benefit of that experience on your own charter.

A Day on Pupa Mia

A full-day charter runs 8 hours, departing from Roland Marina or Sliema in the morning. Most charters head for Comino’s Blue Lagoon or the Blue Grotto on Malta’s south coast, anchoring for swimming, snorkelling, and time on the paddleboard. The sound system is on board as standard, so your playlist runs through the whole day — and DJs are genuinely welcome if your group wants to bring their own setup. If you want an extra layer of fun on the water, the jet ski add-on (€300) is available on request.

Prefer the shorter option? The evening/sunset charter covers golden hour and into dusk — a popular choice for smaller groups or couples who want the atmosphere without a full day at sea.

Group Sizes & Adding Guests

The standard charter price covers up to 20 guests. If your group is a little larger, you can add up to 5 more people for €25 per person, bringing the maximum to 25 — handy for birthdays or gatherings where a few extra guests confirm after you’ve already booked. Let us know your expected numbers in advance so we can plan the day properly around your group.
