Turismo 710 RIB Hire 8 Guests – From €500 Day Charter

Our only self-drive option — a RIB for up to 8 guests. €500/day self-drive (boat licence required) or €600/day with a skipper.

RIB & Speedboat Hire in Malta

Our Turismo 710 RIB is the fastest way to see Malta from the sea. Hire it for up to 8 guests and drive it yourself with a boat licence for €500 a day, or relax and let our skipper take you for €600. It’s the only self-drive boat in our fleet, and it’s yours alone for the day.

Self-Drive or With a Skipper?

  • Self-drive – €500 per day. For guests with a boat licence. We accept boat licences from any country, including the ICC and RYA Day Skipper. Bring it with you on the day.
  • With a skipper – €600 per day. No licence needed. Our skipper drives, knows the best swim spots and handles the anchoring, so your group can simply enjoy the day.

Fuel is extra and paid for what you use: a typical day trip to Comino uses around €75. A €200 refundable security deposit applies.

No Boat Licence? Hire the RIB With a Skipper

In Malta you need a recognised boat licence to drive a motor boat yourself, and there are no licence-free self-drive boats in our fleet. If nobody in your group has a licence, book the RIB with a skipper. You still get the speed and freedom of a RIB, with someone local at the helm. For the full rules, see our guide: Do You Need a Licence to Rent a Boat in Malta?

Where You Can Go in a Day

  • Blue Lagoon & Crystal Lagoon, Comino – about 22 km up the coast, the most popular trip.
  • Gozo – cross to Malta’s sister island and stop there for lunch.
  • Sea caves and hidden coves along Malta’s coastline.
  • Your own route – stop where you like, for as long as you like.

What’s on Board

  • Bluetooth sound system
  • Fridge
  • Shower
  • Life jackets for every guest

What to bring: swimwear and towels, sunscreen and a hat, drinking water, snacks and drinks, mask and fins if you’d like to snorkel, and your boat licence for self-drive.

Boarding: Ta’ Xbiex or Sliema

Board at Roland Marina, Pontoon D, Ta’ Xbiex, or at 101 Tigné Seafront, Sliema, at no extra cost. The RIB doesn’t offer pickups from other locations: we meet you at one of these two bases so we can check your licence before you set off.
